The Style of their Barn Wedding
Liz and Brock incorporated the most vibrant floral displays within their ceremony. The color burgundy was the shade that tied it all together. Liz and Brock enjoyed a romantic and rustic Indiana barn wedding ceremony in front of our iconic stone fireplace, adorned with candles and fragrant floral arrangements on either side of the fireplace perfectly framing the couple as they said, “I DO.”
This barn wedding showcased some very posh styling throughout. The bridesmaids, all in burgundy, wore mismatched dresses (in design and fit) allowing each of the ladies to shine and wear something they felt beautiful in throughout the celebration.
Brock, the groom, sported a burgundy suit, which was not only something unique, but it incorporated the burgundy color theme throughout the wedding. Our bride, Liz, wore an elegant bridal gown and she looked absolutely stunning. She also added a unique touch to her photos at our wildflower fields, integrating an elegant parasol within the photographs. This addition was not only elegant but added a hint of Liz’s personal style to the pictures.
Liz and Brock received their guests via a customized welcome sign, showcasing a photo from their engagement session. This is an outstanding personal touch to welcome your guests in this way. It adds an additional layer of dimension to your love story for your guests to experience through the pictures.
Also, it’s important to note that all couples who book their wedding at Montgomery Creek Ranch are welcome to take their engagement photos here at the Ranch! This is great for couples who like to either use their engagement photos for signage or have them scattered throughout the wedding for guests to see, and the landscape within the photographs (of course) is a perfect fit as the pictures are taken at the same location.
Consider breaking the mold
What we especially enjoyed about this charming Indiana barn wedding was the couple’s use of non-traditional desserts at their reception. Of course, the couple had a traditional wedding cake, but the cake was beautifully complemented with fruit parfaits, cupcakes and other little sweet treats accompanied by the perfect sign, “How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You.”
Liz and Brock involved their guests in their wedding day love story – we love it when we see this! They didn’t just have a guest book; they had a PHOTO guest book. This is both a unique and fun way to get special celebratory messages or advice for the future from your friends and family and leaves the couple with a special photo memento from each guest to accompany the message.
